1. Take the overall charge of the teaching, research and social service of FSFSE under the leadership of XJTU and the Committee Board of FSFSE; guarantee an orderly running of FSFSE.
2. Design FSFSE development strategies, identify the development direction and promote the discipline building and development.
3. Establish a premier faculty team aligned with the discipline development; attract domestic and overseas elites.
4. Establish a world-class talent training system and attract excellent students.
5. Promote extensive cooperation with both domestic and overseas identities; upgrade the international reputation and academic impact of FSFSE.
6. Strengthen contacts with alumni and individual donators and groups to diversify funding resources for FSFSE development.
Recruitment Requirements
An eligible applicant is expected to meet the following requirements:
1. Comply with the Constitution and other relevant laws of P. R. China; demonstrate great commitment, responsibility, and enormous passion for higher education.
2. Show a strategic vision, advanced schooling philosophies and broad administrative experience; have the administrative experience in the departments (research institutions/laboratories) home and abroad; capable of leading the frontier research and cultivating innovative talents with an international vision.
3. Be universally recognized with academic reputation and social impact in the field of process equipment,precision instrument, food science and engineering; maintain an extensive domestic and international collaborative network.
4. Capable of taking a full-time job at XJTU.
5. Earn a doctor degree from a famous university or research institutions home and abroad; hold a professorship or senior researchship in famous universities or research institutions; under the age of 50 in good physical health.
Salary and Welfare
1. Annual Basic Salary: RMB 1,200,000 (before tax)
2. Annual Medical Insurance: RMB 2,000 (Comprehensive Medical Insurance for visitors from foreign countries, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan)
3. Annual Accommodation Subsidy: RMB 50,000 (Furnishings and electric appliances provided)
4. Annual Bonus: The bonus is decided .
5. Vacation: Paid (summer vacation, winter vacation and national holidays. And reimbursable round-trip international airfare RMB 100,000 per year)
6. Work Visa: processed and paid by XJTU (RMB 1000)
7. Children Education: Children could be placed at XJTU Affiliated kindergarten and schools
8. Research Start-up Funding: offered in accordance with XJTU Faculty Recruitment Regulation
