Taipei International Montessori School, a Dual Language Montessori elementary school, is seeking two AMI-trained elementary teachers starting August 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for English-speaking elementary teachers to co-lead classrooms along with Mandarin-speaking teachers.
Taipei International Montessori School is part of Ms. Lam Montessori Schools, established in 1984 – the first Montessori school in Taiwan. Our five other locations include Primary and Toddler classrooms, all taught by AMI teachers. Establishment of our elementary program was an exciting step in 2017.
Now, we are seeking passionate teachers interested in exploring the fascinating city of Taipei, as we grow to six elementary classrooms. Taipei is a vibrant city melding rich Chinese tradition/culture with a modern vibe and conveniences. Taipei is known for friendly people, a thriving food culture, and a world-class mass transit system. In 2019 Taiwan was named ‘World’s Most Welcoming Country for Expats’ by InterNation. In 2020, Taiwan distinguished itself as a world leader with its effective response to the coronavirus pandemic.
