Established in 2012, this gallery is tucked down a nice little lane behind a prosperous shopping district, near the intersection of DongBaoXing Road and North SiChuang Road, HongKou. It features multi-cultural artists from across the globe and does not neglect Shanghai and China. O-Gallery is featuring some of today’s best artists from the famous French to the exotic land of Mauritius, not forgetting the wildly emerging Chinese artists. Amazing works of artists such as Li XueYuan, Wang Jun, Huang Jin, Sylvain, Andrej Iliev & Weronika Nossowicz had held their exhibition in O. Gallery, we provide an important way to learn all aspects of gallery or museum operations, this role is typically involves greeting clients, art research, archiving, assisting with show openings, preparing for exhibitions and special projects as assigned, we look forward to create greater
future with your participation.
Those who wish to escape their ordinary lives for a short while to explore the world of fantasy and fun, you are welcome to join our team as this role offers an excellent opportunity for an intern who is interested in gaining work experience in an art gallery.
TASKS MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
-Able to do sales, sales experience is preferable
-Researching materials on emerging artists
-Assist in day-to-day gallery operations, exhibition preparations and events
REQUIREMENTS
-Outgoing personality with passion
-Detail oriented, ability to take direction and work in a team environment
-Knowledge and passion for art and contemporary photography
-Retail experience and/or knowledge of retail environment is preferable, fluent Mandarin is a plus
-Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience
-Demonstrate attention to details while maintaining perspective
