Job purpose:
To teach English drama in an international school of Nanjing or Beijing. To help developing an engaging Reading and Drama curriculum and work in close collaboration with drama teachers.
Availability: Mondays to Wednesdays from 9:00 to 4:15 PM
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches drama, oral expression, body awareness, exaggeration
- Uses ESL techniques to teach Chinese students
- Uses positive methods to engage students in their learning
- Helps develop a English Drama curriculum
- Follows up after classes with teachers and schools
- Is comfortable teaching different class sizes (from 5 to 30 students per class)
- Adapts course of study and training methods to meet student's need and ability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a University Degree qualification from an accredited college or university
- ESL or TESOL certificate preferred
- Enthusiastic to work with Chinese children
- Organized mind, flexibility and excellent communication skills
- Native English Speaker, some non native can be considered if qualified and clear english accent
- Experienced related with Drama or education
Benefits:
• Salary: 14-20k RMB/month (teaching around 10 classes a week) plus housing allowance, visa and other benefits.
