START DATE: December / January, 2015 - 2016 !
JOB TITLE: ESL TEACHER (for 4 -- 12 year olds)
LOCATION: American Academy, Dongguan China.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Teach English as a Second Language classes to Chinese students between the ages of 4 and 12 years old.
Begin teaching promptly at class start times
Acquaint yourself fully with the student materials and academic program guidelines
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and fostering conversation
Create lessons where needed in curriculum, e.g., Slang, Current Events, Role Play
Enhance or expand lessons to make relevant and interesting to students
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
USA native that speaks English as a FIRST language.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with multi-ethnic groups a must
Personal computer required
Hiring subject to successful completion of training meeting(s)
