· Provide the technical expertise and support for all SAP environments during project implementation and post go-live.
· Perform duties of SAP Basis Administrator including, SAP installs, system copies, change management, ongoing administration, support pack assessment and implementation, performance monitoring and tuning, and SAP printing.
· Involve in designing and building security roles with system integrator during implementation of the SAP project.
· Assigns or modifies access for team members, who require access to SAP MM, SD, FI, GTM and other functional roles and profiles.
· Advises business unit manager on how to optimize SAP security roles.
· Provides training and assistance for new solution teams during SAP rollouts.
· Perform duties of system administrator in UNIX environment (IBM AIX, Sun Solaris). Perform duties of database administration (DB2, Sybase or Oracle)
· Participate with team in designing and maintaining a global systems landscape architecture to support all mission critical systems, including disaster recovery planning and implementation.
· Engage in continuous learning, to ensure that the Basis team remains current with SAP and supporting technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· In-depth SAP Basis experience required.
· 3 years of experience in a SAP security analyst role
· Completion/certification of SAP training for SAP ERP ECC 6.0 landscape and security roles
· Hands on experience with MS Windows Server installation and support experience
· In-depth working knowledge of SAPERP ECC 6.0 Basis setup, and SAP Security best practices.
· Strong verbal and written communication with team members
