1. Identify, develop and qualify suppliers for the new components, projects or cost reduction
2. Develop commodity sourcing strategy, set up supplier base, and continually optimize purchasing conditions to achieve cost reduction target and supply chain excellence.
3. Prepares RFQ, collect and analyze competitive quotes from multiple suppliers for product cost efficiency, support Program manager on MCE with best solutions.
4. Implement supplier performance management in terms of quality, delivery, cost, service.
5. Perform contract/agreement negotiation, supplier audit, and review project status and supplier improvement.
6. Work closely with SQE and support GCN, GUS and GEU product development team for new product development and program development
7. Provide assist and help to close open issues regarding to material problem
8. Identify VA/VE cost-reduction opportunity and fulfill cost saving expectation.
9. Maintain good relationship with supplier, develop partnership with key suppliers.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree with engineering background, major in mechanical engineering or material engineering is preferred
2. At least 5 Years of sourcing or purchasing experience in multinational company
3. Strong working knowledge in reading and understanding of technical drawing is essential.
4. Professional of metal raw material, stamping, die casting, extrusion parts..etc
5. Familiar with source of mechanical and fabrication parts, good knowledge of plating/coating and molding is a plus.
6. Exposure in high-mix low-volume (HMLV) environment.
7. Proactive, possess good negotiation, communication and project management skills.
8. Experience of working in international environment, good communication skills of English
