To whom it may concern,

My name is Nicholas Hanson from UK. I have lived in China now for 3 and a half years. After graduation and before coming to China I also spent a year in Germany.

Although my full time work for the last 3 years has been as an English teacher, when I am not working I am always trying to learn more about work and business to help further my career. I am always trying to learn more in all fields to develop my eduction. I have worked online (Pactera) to try asnd learn more about technology and the needs of businesses. I like to use my spare time as productively as possible, by working online or with personal study.

I am passionate about Chinese language and culture and try to share as much of my own language and culture with my Chinese colleagues and friends. By conversing with Chinese friends daily for a long time I have managed to improve my Chinese to the point that I feel comfortable communicating with people in Chinese on all but the most difficult subjects. This would almost certainly be a strong resource for me if my job required me to communicate with Chinese.

I believe that the ability to form good relationships with your colleagues is important in the workplace. I believe work is a place where everyone can learn and improve and it is particularly important to listen to the suggestions of your colleagues. It is also important to understand your colleagues needs and priorities, especially when they relate directly to you.

If I had the opportunity to join your team I could definitely prove myself to be a committed and cooperative employee: always prepared to push harder for a better result and who thinks about work in the evenings and on weekends.
