OTW (On The Way) Education is an international education group with offices in Toronto Canada, Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing China.
Job purpose:
To teach English drama in public schools of Nanjing. To help developing an engaging Reading and Drama curriculum and work in close collaboration with drama teachers.
Availability: Mondays to Wednesdays from 9:00 to 2:15 PM Starting date: As soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches drama, oral expression, body awareness, exaggeration
- Uses ESL techniques to teach Chinese students
- Uses positive methods to engage students in their learning
- Helps develop a English Drama curriculum
- Follows up after classes with teachers and schools
- Is comfortable teaching different class sizes (from 15 to 40 students per class)
- Adapts course of study and training methods to meet student's need and ability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a University Degree qualification from an accredited college or university
- ESL or TESOL certificate
- Enthusiastic to work with Chinese children
- Organized mind, flexibility and excellent communication skills
- Native English Speaker
- Experienced related with Drama education
Salary:
• Salary: 300 RMB per hour (teaching around 10 classes a week)
