1. Basic Salary
a. PhD (or masters major in English Language and Literature), RMB6,800;
b. Master’s degree (with work experience), RMB6,000;
c. Bachelor’s degree (with more than 3-year teaching experience), RMB5,200.

1. Subsidies
a. Campus Subsidies
Foreign teachers who teach at Chenggong campus will receive a subsidy of RMB 20 per class hour.
b. Housing Allowance
There are two options in accommodation provided:
Option A: The suite for international experts/teachers in the university hotel (Donglu Campus) paid by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange during the contract.
Option B: The monthly rent allowance of RMB2000 (Two Thousand Chinese Yuan) during the contracted academic year and rent apartment outside the campus. Teachers who signed to work for one semester will get a 5-month rent allowance. Teachers who signed to work for one academic year will get a 11-month rent allowance. For those who are employed for more than one year or are employed by the university for another year after they finish the current work contract, he/she will get a 12-month rent allowance for one academic year.
c. Travel Allowance
A yearly travel allowance of 3,000 RMB will be granted, that is 1500 RMB for each semester.
d. International Travel Subsidies
A direct round-trip economy class ticket which is limited up to RMB8000 (for a term of employment of more than one year/an academic year); a direct one-way economy class ticket which is limited up to RMB4000 (for a term of employment of half a year/one semester).
e. Overtime Class Subsidies
In principle, the workload of foreign teachers is calculated based on 8-12 class hours per week, which can be determined according to the specific teaching needs of the college. The extra lesson fee will be calculated at 150 yuan per class hour.
2. Accident Medical Insurance
The school voluntarily purchases accidental injury medical insurance for foreign teachers during their working hours.
3. Performance Reward
The school will give a one-time reward to the foreign teachers who fulfill the contract in full. If the employment period is half a year (one semester), the reward amount is one-fourth of the monthly salary at the end of the employment period; if the employment period is one year, the reward amount is half of the monthly salary at the end of the employment period, and so on.
