Course description:
1. Computer Aided Design 4 (3DMAX)
This course starts from the foundation of 3D Max software, in the process of understanding 3D modeling, through the study of 3D software and the explanation of 3D modeling, scene and animation creation process, to emphasize the ingenious combination of creative ideas and new technologies. And striving to improve creativity of students in art appreciation and aesthetic interest.
2. Landscape Illumination Design(1)&(2)
At the end of this course students will have an overall understanding of landscape illumination design. The students will have a comprehensive grasp of the aesthetics of landscape illumination design, design procedures, expression of effect drawings, lamp design, lighting budget estimate, etc. The students could independently complete the planning and design of landscape lighting art such as squares, gardens, lighting sketches, etc.
This course is divided into four sections: basic concepts, introduction of lamps and light sources, design techniques, and lamp design.
This course is divided into two semesters. The first semester mainly introduces the history of lighting, the basic concepts of lighting, the basic characteristics of lamps and light sources and the use and installation. The second semester introduces design techniques, lighting budget estimates, art lighting development and design, and interspersed with two design schemes at the same time.
Students are required to collect data and conduct case studies.
At the second semester the students need to complete a program design and interspersed with lighting sketch design.
3. Residential Space Landscape Design
The purpose of the course is to enable students to have a more in-depth understanding of spatial design and a deeper understanding of the whole landscape design system. The contents of the course are mainly related to the overall planning of residential space, road classification, greening classification, main landscape structure and related structural organization.
4. Computer Aided Design 2(AUTO CAD)
The main purpose of this course is to enable students to master all kinds of techniques quickly through the learning of each command of the software, and apply it to practical study, design and work combined with the basis of drawing and decorative structure.
At the end of the course the students can use Auto CAD to draw 2D graphics by understanding and mastering Auto CAD 2D drawing commands.
This course needs to describe the application methods and skills of AutoCAD 2014 landscape drawing in the way of a large number of examples and cases. It is divided into basic knowledge, landscape design unit and comprehensive examples.
The basic knowledge section includes: introduction to AutoCAD 2014, 2D drawing commands, basic drawing tools, editing commands, and auxiliary tools.
The landscape design unit introduces in detail the drawing methods of various components of the garden, including: basic overview of landscape design, topography, landscape architecture drawing, garden sketches, garden waterscape drawing, landscaping design and other knowledge.
It comprehensively introduces that the design process and methods of gardens with different characteristics in the comprehensive example part in landscape design, including three examples: roadside green space design, comprehensive park green space design and the comprehensive garden design of an ecological picking garden.
5. Landscape Plant Configuration
The main contents and task of this course is to briefly analyze and describe the artistic effects, planting forms, allocation principles and methods of planting. At the same time, according to the overall curriculum structure of landscape major, increase some basic botanical knowledge such as plant identification, plant classification and so on.
6. Foundation of Visual Communication
This course introduces the concepts, problems and social impact of visual communication.
It includes the development, principles, practice of visual communication design and so on.
So that students can combine relevant theories to study the new discovery and application of visual communication design in visual communication. Summarizing and thinking about the dialectical relationship between the development of visual communication design technology and the artistic expression.
7. Creative Design
This course introduces the basic concepts, principles and practice of creative design, as well as the basic contents and requirements involved.
It aims to make students to master the correct method of creative expression and lay the foundation for the follow-up design work.
8. Theme Park Design
Through the study of this course, students need to understand the development, history and prospects of the theme park.
To make the students to master the basic theoretical knowledge and general principles, methods and skills of theme park planning and design.
To cultivate the ability of appreciate the theme park and the ability of planning and design. Improving the students' professional design quality, and to achieve the level that they can complete the overall planning and detailed design of the theme park.
9. Graphic Design
The main purpose of this course is to let students to learn the concepts of environmental marking, to understand environmental types and labeling systems, to master the design procedures and principles of environmental labeling system, and to be familiar with its design form elements and style features through the practice of graphic design theory and practice.
Combining with the relevant professional design topics, so that the students have the initial ability to design the environmental labeling system.
10. Computer Aided Design 3 (SKETCHUP)
Through teaching of this course, students can be proficient in software operation, and at the same time create valuable space and spatial structure in the process of software operation.
At the end of the course, students can be proficient in using the software and making designs.
11. City Square Design
This course is divided into two parts.
The first part is the theory, which mainly introduces the history, development, trend, function, planning method, principle and so on. The second part carries on the design practice of the city square. Through a simulated design project to learning the procedures, methods and rules of design.
12. Computer Aided Design 1(PS/AI)
