• Crafting students’ strategy (picking class and school, test prep, activity) and tracking students’ progress
• Developing students’ activities and service involvement
• Holding meetings with students-parents and sending meeting notes to both
• Counseling on written portion of college applications
• Conducting internal and external seminars
• Develop independent projects / resources
Qualifications:
• Graduate of a top 30 US University/College
• 1-2 year experience of working in the education consulting area
• Planning and organizational skills
• Excellent English writing and editing skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to communicate with parents and students
• Background/experience in education, writing, editing, and admission counseling is a plus
• Knowledge of U.S. higher education system/standardized testing
• Knowledge of Chinese International school system a bonus
Compensation:
• Monthly Base: 20,000-26,000 RMB (negotiable depends on work experience)
• Student Commission: Percentage of package value (details discussed in interview)
• Project Bonus: Percentage of the project that consultant is designing and leading.
• Annual Bonus: Percentage of annual revenue
• Annual Income: 350,000-450,000RMB depending on the projects and student cases.
In addition, Elite Mentor can also design and teach classes, and get compensated on an hourly basis on top of aforementioned compensations.
