A Hong Kong online company is looking for talents who may work in Hong Kong or Shenzhen office.
Responsible for planning, development, and implementation for all external and internal marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities for the Marketing and Business Development Department and Founder of ECrent; coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functional groups; focuses on wide mix of tasks ranging from internal teams to end-users of ECrent.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Communications
• Plan, develop, and implement business unit's internal and external marketing communications strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate strategy, budget constraints and brand guidelines.
• Establish global messaging platform for activities related to sales, marketing and trade events.
• Ensure clear and consistent messaging for all communications through all media.
• Collaborate with operational teams to create communications objectives and strategies.
• Craft positioning statements, key messages, imagery, facts, and figures for business unit's services and solutions.
• Maintain business unit identity guidelines and implement them into marketing and advertising programs.
• Work with partners to create and deliver unified channel messaging.
• Develop a comprehensive set of marketing and sales tools such as websites, brochures, and company fact sheets.
Public Relations
• Plan, develop, and implement business unit's internal and external public relations strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate strategy, budget constraints and brand guidelines.
• Coordinate public relation activities and ensure effective customer communications.
• Represent company to press and public by acting as chief corporate spokesperson to the media.
• Manage press events, conferences, and interviews.
• Develop and implement external materials for press and customers in coordination with operational teams.
• Foster contacts and relationships with media representatives to create opportunities for keeping company and products in front of public and the trade press.
• Draft and disseminate press releases, media advisories and social media posts to promote the business aviation group within Panasonic's Global Communications group.
Advertising, Promotional Events, and Tradeshows
• Drive advertising and editorial efforts for all media including digital, print, and online.
• Define advertising and sales promotional objectives and achieve these objectives on time and within budget.
• Oversee and manage all promotional event and trade show activities from both strategic (messaging) and tactical (booth) perspectives.
• Develop and execute press plans for trade events to include announcements, press kits, strategic messaging and collateral.
• Provide direction and closely monitor production of projects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of various promotional programs and recommend improvements.
• Work with operational teams to secure sales objectives, product information, and promotional requirements for business unit.
• Maintain ongoing contact with targeted media to encourage favorable coverage of brand and company.
• Plan and propose activities to expand public awareness of our products and enhance the image of the business unit and brand.
Budgets and Operations
• Analyze expenses and recommend ways to achieve cost-effective results.
• Make spending recommendations to management.
• Interface with finance teams on budgetary issues.
• Manage all related expenditures for advertising projects.

• Ability to solve internal and external communications problems, some of which are of a technically complex and of critical nature.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proven success as a chief spokesperson.
• High quality editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of communications and public relations techniques, processes, and strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to develop ideas, persuade and negotiate.
• Ability to think quickly and make decisions.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to analyze, interpret, and evaluate information.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• B.A. or B.S. in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
2+ years of marketing and communication experience preferred.
Blogging and international experience preferred.
