Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with company teams to manage entire quality assurance and QC process.
- Specific management of the quality control process including inspection protocol and scheduling.
- Manage direct reports, provide training, daily supervision, mentoring, coaching and performance reviews.
- Develop efficient processes to achieve goal of highest quality at best price delivered every time.
- Manage schedule of factory audits, ensuring factory is well prepared for upcoming audits and responds with quick solutions to required CAP.
- Document and track owned tooling via photographic evidence and tooling maintenance records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to home office, efficient and fast response to daily U. S. Office and Vendor communications in regards to ongoing QA improvements and quality solutions on existing orders.
- Take the lead role on continuous quality improvement of product to include proactive suggestions to factory and follow up to ensure running change is made.
- Maintain relationships, troubleshoot and resolve issues, negotiate with factory regarding quality improvements.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with employees as well as vendors.
