Position Summary
To manage and ensure supply of assigned parts in the most cost effective way and in line with the Materials Group Strategy.

Essential Responsibilities
1.Assure Material & Service availability to meet production demand
2.Perform Commodity & vendor Benchmarking
3.Support & Maintain Daily Shortage tools & Processes
4.Liaise on a Daily basis with Customer & SLC hub to resolve any queries
5.Work locally with Carriers & SLC receiving to ensure product gets delivered in line with Commit dates
6.Update weekly Purchase Orders.
7.Monitor inventories @ SerCom, Vendor Sites and In-Transit
8.Communicate regularly with vendors.
9.Expedite potential shortages.
10.Work to reduce any potential Excess and Obsolete materials.
11.Manage existing inventory levels, which includes analyzing usage and current conditions to determine current and future needs to be sure the correct amount of inventory is available at all times so that there is never too much or too little stock available. Manage order points which includes; quoting, ordering, tracking, and follow-up (both verbal and written) and building a constructive relationship with vendors.
12.Reviews vendor invoices, including shipping receipts, and resolves billing discrepancies.
13.Manage all vendor information and providing a quarterly report for the department on all vendors.
14.Collecting and analyzing all necessary quantitative and qualitative information on our product and services to determine vendor suitability.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1.Be capable of operating & co-ordinating activity within a multi-cultural environment and be capable of influencing those within that environment.
2. Capable of responding to multiple challenges in a positive and energetic fashion.
3.Capable of pulling information from a variety of sources both internal & external to our Client and be able to process & analyse this information & data.
4.Excellent product knowledge to be able to liaise effectively with the customer & offer alternatives to find an optimal solution for the customers’ product requirements.

Education & Experience:
1.Working knowledge of MRP, SAP and MS office.
2.Record in participating cross functional project teams.
3.Sound Knowledge of key business processes, related products and fulfilment methodologies.
4.Fluent Mandarin & English.
