Our client is the world’s leading supplier of sensors and controls across a broad range of markets and applications.
Based in Shenzhen / China but spending most of your time at the customer as an onsite engineering representative and contact, you will report directly to the Business Development Manager. Your duties will require you to support both the Business Development Manager and the Sales Manager/Engineer in providing product expertise to customer engineers.
Your duties will include:
· Coordinating and successfully completing customer submission milestones related to a product program,
· Identifying potential opportunities for TPM and other products and delivering that information to Business Development Manager & Sales Manager/Engineer,
· Participating in customer required meetings in support of new product programs,
· Assisting and/or conducting product reliability testing to assure all customer requirements are met including DV, PV, and vehicle system testing.
· Coordination of APQP and customer required documentation and delivery of drawings to customer
· Coordinating product changes and specifications to meet customer performance needs, this will include working with technical partners to ensure successful integration, working with vehicle assembly plant personnel or sub-suppliers to ensure successful mechanical integration
· Acting as a primary participant in all customer interface meetings to ensure successful product integration.
· Supporting customer production launches for all new projects
· Responsible for coordinating all customer hardware deliverables and ensure commercial issues are coordinated with Business Development Manager
· Responsible for delivery of prototypes and obtaining proper verification of delivery
· Keeping in contact on a regular basis with management of the Company
· Keeping Senior Product Engineers, Business Development Managers & Sales Managers/Engineers informed about customer reactions, needs, desires or criticism and will formulate proposals to meet these.
Candidates must possess an electrical engineering (preferred) or mechanical engineering degree with electronic work experience and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate English language proficiency, have the ability to analyse and manipulate data and present figures accordingly, and possess a strong personality to manage customer interfaces and possible conflict situations. In addition the ideal candidate should possess a clean Chinese driving license and have the ability to operate both a manual and automatic transmission vehicle.
