Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-profile leadership role for a global Group with full responsibility for country operations. Based in Shenzhen, reporting to the European Executive Team, you will take ownership for the Southern China business including the entire range of manufacturing and corporate business functions. You will deliver a clear business strategy to lead process improvements to maximise operational efficiencies and optimise productivity. You will have full P&L responsibility; your business-critical commercial decision-making will be at the forefront of key initiatives and forward planning to ensure the continued delivery of premium products to the global markets.
The Successful Applicant
You will have a track-record of success working at a senior or GM level in an international manufacturing company. Your technical expertise will include expert knowledge of injection moulding and assembly with a strong exposure to lean manufacturing / six sigma best practices. Your commercial acumen will showcase an obvious flair for strong cost management, continuous improvement and an innovative, proactive approach to problem solving. You will be an approachable but results-focussed leader with an exceptional ability to communicate, motivate and execute ideas. Fluent English supported by basic German and Mandarin would be advantageous.
