This job is to work with engineering manager and team leader to handle project and related Automotive Transmission /Driveline application, responsible for PMDC motor mechanical design, prototyping, validation, analysis, VAVE (Value Analysis-Value Engineering), etc.
Responsibilities:
1.Cooperate with engineering team to design and develop PMDC(permanent maintenance direct current) motor
2.PMDC motor is application for automotive system (Transmission / Drivetrain / Braking)
3.Work with cross functional team to conduct projects according to APQP from inquiry stage to PPAP and production stage
4.Has got motor electro-magnetic design experience
5.Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide proposals.
6.Implement development roadmap and strategies of motor application
7.Prepare APQP related documents-FMEA, QFD, analysis reports
8.Liaise with supplier for components and tooling design, cost and schedule

Requirements
1.Bachelor or Master Degree, major in motor (electric) engineering
2.6 years working experience in motor (electrical appliance) engineering and manufacturing related
3.Knowledge of motor electro-magnetic design, development and manufacturing process. Experience in mechanical (metal and plastic parts) and electrical components design (application)
4.Good knowledge and experience in product prototyping, design validation, product testing
5.Good knowledge of analytic, problem solving, presentation and reporting skills in front of customer
6.People and project (engineering) management
7.Knowledge in TS16949, ISO 14000, FMEA, APQP, DOE(design of experiment), DFM(design for manufacturing)
8.Proficient in engineering drawing software-Solidworks, AutoCAD, Pro-E and Microsoft office software
9.Good communication skill in English, and fluent in Chinese or Japanese or German will be an advantage
