About Our Client
Our client is a fast growing US company in the electronics industry. They are now expanding the China team to work with the head office and manage China based contract manufacturers.
Job Description
As Operations Logistics Manager, you will lead the Operations Logistics function for China Operations of a fast growing US company. You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with external suppliers and internal partners in US and China offices. You will lead the team working with contract manufacturers and help resolve issues in materials and capacity planning, production scheduling and import/export. You will establish and lead strategic initiatives to improve infrastructure in operations logistics. As leader of the team, you will provide leadership and training to continuously improve staff capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
To be qualified as Operations Logistics Manager, you will have extensive work experience in a factory setting, preferably electronics manufacturing with solid experience in production scheduling, materials control and logistics management. You will have excellent communication skills with proven record bridging a western organization with China based contract manufacturers, freight forwarders and warehouses. Previous people management experience is needed. You must be proficient in both English and Mandarin.
