-Lead subordinates in both North and South China offices to meet changing business demands for client satisfaction.
-Build team sprit including, supervisory, motivation, and coaching of team members.
-Build and establish strong clients relationship.
-Develop and implement new and innovative action plans to achieve new business objectives and collaborate with clients to achieve the business goals.
-Plan and carry out strategic sourcing and supplier developments, to support business demands or growths
-Ensure smooth running of the whole merchandising process, from vendor sourcing, product development to product delivery
-Act as liaison among other functional departments such as technical and QA departments to ensure effective communications.
-Identify causes of current problems and to anticipate potential pitfalls, to prepare workable solutions and to work on improvement methods
-Ensure timely submission of any market and management reports
Job Requirements
-Degree holder preferred
-Minimum 15 years solid experience in furniture and at least 8 years experience at managerial level.
-Good communication, leadership, negotiation and problem solving skills.
-Strong product knowledge in furniture, both indoor and outdoor furniture will be an advantage
-Knowledge in US and EU furniture market is preferred.
-Good understanding of furniture suppliers network in mainland China
-Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
-Effective communication and interpersonal skill to interact with all levels, both external and internal.
-Occasional overseas travels may be required.
