| SUMMARY OF POSITION: Develop and manage all electro-mechanical finished goods co...SUMMARY OF POSITION: Develop and manage all electro-mechanical finished goods contract manufacturing commercial relationships, supplier capabilities, capacities, allocations and global footprint to support strategic business unit requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify, assess, engage, and develop appropriate finished goods contract manufacturing partners supporting strategic business unit quality, cost, delivery, and innovation requirements.
· Develop global manufacturing strategies that minimize total landed cost, maximize supply chain flexibility and responsiveness while mitigating risk of supply disruption.
· Serve as primary point of contact for the commercial relationship with all assigned electro-mechanical contract manufacturers.
· Lead cross-functional quarterly business reviews with contract manufacturers and maintain supplier scorecard on key electro-mechanical suppliers.
· Analyzes supplier capacity/availability and establishes risk mitigation plans.
· Works with the global strategic sourcing and engineering team on raw material (plastics/resins/metals) market analysis and impact assessments.
· Works closely with strategic business units to develop forward-looking component-level supplier constraint/allocation risk analysis. Evaluate opportunities to develop alternative tier two suppliers. Leads costed-BOM reviews to ensure cost accuracy.
· Conduct supplier material inventory analysis and cost reduction cut-in planning.
· Leads BOM reviews to ensure cost and component accuracy and establishes value engineering processes to ensure continuous improvement to costs/quality.
· Creates and maintains all new product timelines ensuring due dates are achieved to meet goals. Evaluates timeline leading team to make go/no go decisions as needed.
· Manages ECO process for all items, and all types of ECOs. Responsible for approval in Oracle.
· Manages item setup submission and BOM creation working with doc specialist (PSBO).
· Manage scrap requests and negotiate scrap dollars and disposition ensure alignment with PSBO and SBU.
· Serve as primary point of contact for item integrity for TB SBU. Ensure alignment with SBU and PSBO.
· Maintain balance score card data for NPD cost tracking, project tracking and cost savings submit to SBU director monthly.
· Facilitate CapEx approval process working with product manager, mechanical engineer and/or program manager from PSBO to finalize and submit CapEx by project for CFO and director approval.

· Capable of presenting manufacturing and sourcing strategies to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions. Must demonstrate a complete understanding of quantitative/qualitative analysis.
· Five or more years direct experience managing internal or external manufacturing involving injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming operations.
· Strong ability to influence. Must have high level of personal credibility as a spokesperson for global manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
· Strong business knowledge/experience with manufacturing, supply chain, contract negotiations, cost-modeling, engineering and product development.
· Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
· Significant international travel required.
