Job Accountabilities:
The Marketing Specialist will report to the North America Marketing Director and work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams on a day-to-day basis, as well as communicate directly with various Sunvalley departments to ensure all company sales and marketing goals are met. In this position, you will be responsible for internet marketing activities that advance the promotion and services of Sunvalley’s brands of consumer electronics brands including RAVPower, TaoTronics, HooToo, USpicy, and Dresuit. The Marketing Specialist will also coordinate gathering and analyzing key sales data and responsible for the tracking and reporting of key online marketing initiatives, supporting managing internet product page descriptions and other marketing tasks.

Primary responsibilities for this position include: Help optimize online advertising performance, analyzing and suggesting ad campaigns based upon performance data and sales needs. Coordinate external media support and analyze media/PR results as needed – cooperating with internal teams and outside agencies. Coordinate Amazon listing descriptions (product page) content improvements. Analyze web traffic and user behavior for the purpose of improving website content and conversion rates. Manage online marketing initiatives from development to execution. Track and report key performance indicators of various online marketing projects. Work with multiple departments and team members ensure projects are completed satisfactorily in a timely fashion. Develop, write and implement online content (text, images, videos, etc.). Support other online and offline marketing campaign and communications efforts, including project planning, analyzing or writing assignments, as needed.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: Undergraduate degree and 2-5 years of experience in online marketing or sales. Strong demonstrated ability to communicate in English at near native level (oral and written) as well as Chinese (Mandarin). Demonstrated experience project managing from start to finish including working with subject matter experts, keeping project on schedule, and coordinating campaign activities. Advanced level capabilities with MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to synthesize data required. eCommerce experience a plus. Familiarity reading and interpreting website metrics data (Google Analytics, Amazon platform or similar) required. Basic to intermediate level communicating with outside media/PR is a plus. Basic to intermediate level social media and analytics experience is a plus. Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints in an interrupt driven environment. Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives by working in and with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams. Personal characteristics include high energy level; comfortable performing multifaceted project management and data analysis in conjunction with normal activities; strong analytical and reasoning abilities; well-developed interpersonal skills. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within e-commerce company environment is a plus, but not required. Strong communications skills, business savvy, and team-player attitude is necessary for success.
