KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and maintaining development, test and production environments across unix, windows and oracle technologies.
Designing and developing code build, packaging and deployment processes to improve developer efficiency and environment.
Supporting the development team in resolving environmental issues
Support the release team in coordinating production releases
Proactively managing capacity and contention across the technology estate
Manage the process for project teams to book and share environments; managing conflicts and resolving issues.
Working in partnership with the development team to improve overall SDLC.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years experience in UNIX shell scripting / system administration
3+ years using batch automation technologies (such as autosys / control-m)
Exporting and importing Oracle databases and management of backups
System administration experience in both UNIX and Windows, familiar with system , network, storage, etc.
Strong abilities on problem solving and constructive thinking
Constantly looking at opportunities to improve current processes and presenting articulate, well presented proposal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
Strong skills on communication in both written and oral English
Preferable:
Experience automating build and release process using Ant/Mavern/Jenkins
Familiarity with Datastage.
Experience of enterprise or solution architecture
Candidates with investment banking IT background
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years experience in UNIX
English: Fluent
