Job Responsibilities:
· Work closely with other members in global advanced technology group and other groups to drive the new technology into a demo or prototype.
· Facilitate the synergy and technology transfer between embedded audio and research group.
· Communicate effectively and efficiently as an interface between research group and embedded audio porting team.
· Carry out innovative audio algorithm research and development for prototyping embedded audio products and demos.
· Serve as a system architect of audio algorithms in embedded audio products.
· Analyze audio algorithm portfolio of competitors and provide insights on the positioning of Harman technology and industry trend.
· Proactively think about new areas or ideas and propose research and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Core competency: Deep understanding audio signal processing algorithms; Demonstrated capabilities of independent work on quality audio algorithm development; Strong capabilities of analyzing and benchmarking the performance of black-box audio algorithms.
· Language: Fluency in English (written & verbal) is required.
· Education: M.S.E.E. or Ph.D.
· Experience: MSEE with minimum 6-year related experience in industry or PhD with minimum 3-year experience either as a post-doc or in a R&D center in industry.
· Communication skills: Able to convey the technology concept and principles to non-technical or less experienced persons in both Chinese and English clearly.
· Programming skills: Proficient at Matlab programming and preferably experienced in C/C++.
· Strong desire and capabilities of adapting to new environments and self-learning.
· Strong teamwork spirit.
· Personal passion for audio, technical work and innovation.
· Willing to travel upon project needs.
