Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed as per DR Procedure
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Help enforce IT Security policies and ensure that ISO 27001 standards are being followed. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. Conduct IT Security internal audits.
Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and planning phases and support in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
Negotiate service level agreements with both internal and external customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met
Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.

Requirement:
Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor Degree in computer science or related area
Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft.
2 to 4 years system administration experience.
Familiar with Microsoft server systems and normal IT infrastructure.
Up to date knowledge of IT hardware, Networking and IT systems.
Good team work and ability to work independently.
Ability to understand cultural differences, working background in foreign ventures is a good plus

Good communication skills: express ideas and concepts effectively in an appropriate manner to colleagues, supervisors and others both verbal and written
Good spoken English and fluent written English
