Business Performance Services is focused on improving the operational activities of companies, incl. procurement and supply chain management optimization projects, building up of shared service center, improving processes, reducing costs, enhance revenue, reduce lead times etc.
Responsibilities
Conduct business development activities (prepare and present proposals)
Communicate with senior management and client personnel
Effectively manage multiple/simultaneous engagements/tasks
Work/ supervise staff on assigned engagements
Work with a team of professionals to perform high quality advisory projects and help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients
Establish and build internal and external relationships
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest developments and methods in Procurement and Supply
Chain Management, both locally and internationally
Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or above), preference in engineering, mechanical, electrical, chemical or logistics, supply chain management background
Preferably: Master’s degree in Management related subjects
Procurement, supply chain knowledge and Project management experience
A minimum of eight years experience in management consultancy or with a blue chip company with demonstrable experience in at least four of the following:
Strategic Sourcing / Procurement
Maturity assessment of Procurement organizations/ departments
Cost optimization for direct and indirect spend across diverse industries
Supplier identification and assessment (China, Asia and Global)
Setting up of International Procurement Offices
Analyses and improvement of operational and strategic sourcing processes
Experience of candidates in the following areas is also desired, but not mandatory
Business Process Reengineering
Supply Chain working capital analysis and optimization (within one company or along the supply chain)
Supply Chain network analysis and optimization
Cost reduction in Supply Chains
Optimization of supply chain planning processes
Analysis and optimization of production processes (e.g. with Value Stream Mapping, MTM etc.)
Industry experience should include manufacturing industries, banking, finance, insurance, and telecommunications
We require all candidates to have a flexible, creative and innovative approach to problem solving and possess strong interpersonal and communication skill.
4-6 years project management experience is required in order to lead a team towards a common target
The ideal candidate should be self-confident and should have experience in business development. Senior Managers are expected to follow-up business opportunity independently.
Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin (Putonghua )
