Building up the new organisation of MRO Purchasing at LTS BU COM
Relationship Management with suppliers and/or potential suppliers of the Lufthansa Technik group in the APAC region
Continuous market research for contracted repair sources (OEM’s/ MRO’s) in the APAC region (company data, strategy, identification of best-in-class suppliers, market trends, etc.), including attending MRO-conferences and -exhibitions in Asia
Systematic optimization of repair sources in order to increase local subcontracting in Asia (incl. logistic) and achieve costs savings for the Lufthansa Technik group including structural analysis of cost estimates
Prepare, execute and evaluate RFQs and tenders for defined P/N packages andDefinition of technical specifications to support negotiation of short and long term Component MRO contracts
Performance monitoring of the suppliers about:
– contractual agreements
– Turn Around Time (TAT-) and Cost-Analysis
– warranty order / scrap ratio
– quality
– responding times to requests
– EDI – Electronically communication
Prepare and execute supplier performance meetings in connection with Corporate Purchasing (HAM TN), including performance monitoring KPI’s (contractural agreements, TAT and cost analysis, quality warranty order / scrap ratio)
Execute Performance Audits on site of supplier and periodically join quality Audits together with Lufthansa Technik’s corporate Quality Assurance department
Collaboration with other Lufthansa Technik’s departments in Hamburg and knowledge sharing of information within the LHT group purchasing organisation
Your profile
several years of experience in procurement/purchasing in an international supplier market with a solid commercial background
technical knowledge of mechanics and electronics
