Performs all conventional aspects of Measurement While Drilling (MWD), or Logging While Drilling (LWD), including design, analysis, and/or troubleshooting.
Measurement While Drilling is a primary on-location provider of directional and gamma logging services.
Provides technical and operational expertise to external customer in a professional manner.
This position functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company.
Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.
Problems are characterized by their lack of scientific precedents and source material, or lack of success of prior research and analysis so that their solution would represent an advance of great importance.
Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.
At this level, the individual generally will have contributed inventions, new designs, or techniques which are of material significance in the solution of important problems.
Typical requirements include an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years experience, with average experience of 15+ years.
