To provide HVAC Engineering services at a senior level, covering all activities ranging from Client interaction, Project Development/Preliminary Design, Detail Design, Construction Support &
Commissioning in line with Safety, Schedule, Budget parameters.
Serves as a technical expert in HVAC of building engineering practices.
Responsible and plays a lead role in HVAC design / tender management and discipline quality control.
Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process quality improvement initiatives
Keep track on new technology, methodology and design concept, ensure that design activities hold a competitive level.
Sign off technical content of the design information.
Contribute to the fee proposal and associated bidding management.
Assess staff requirements at each work stage, responsible for HVAC team resource planning, agreeing these with the Project Manager
Attend progress, design team and co-ordinate meetings.
To lead/manage a team of HVAC engineers to deliver and meet project requirements.
Support Executive / Techincal Director for MEP team building and management.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Building Services, HVAC. Business consultant experience is preferred.
Over 10 years post-qualification experience in design and building services management, at least 5 years in China.
Registered / Chartered Engineer of a recognized professional institution.
Solid technical knowledge.
Broad Experience in design for varying building types
Specialized in design for high-profile projects and complex institutional building.
Specialized in tender management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high responsibility.
Excellent verbal/written both in Chinese and English.
Able to work under pressure.
