| Around America Education ("Around America") was founded in 2006 in Shanghai, Chi...Around America Education ("Around America") was founded in 2006 in Shanghai, China by graduates of Northwestern University with a mission to provide top quality American college entrance exam preparation services to students in the Greater China area. Headquartered in Shanghai, Around America has also expanded its reach to other major cities in China such as Nanjing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen, serving over thousands of students annually.
We are currently looking to expand our Shanghai team with driven, enthusiastic SAT teachers with experience teaching essay writing and the ability to teach English literature, additional skills in teaching history are also a plus.
Our students are driven, hard-working, and like to be challenged. We teach for all areas of several standardized tests (including SAT, SAT II, SSAT; in critical reading, vocabulary, interest reading, essay writing etc. . .) and are therefore looking for well rounded teachers with experience teaching high school students.
Requirements:
* Bachelors' degree from top US University
* Scored in top 5 percentile in any American entrance exams (SAT, GMAT, GRE preferred) * Native English speaker and experience with test prep, writing, literature or history
* Experience working with advanced level Chinese students is a plus
* Passionate, outgoing individuals who want to help students succeed
