We are seeking a young, motivated individual who is organized and has exceptional time management skills.
The Logistics and Administration assistant will have an excellent command of the English and Mandarin languages both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will have computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of shipping methods both domestically and international by both sea and air with freight forwarders as well as third party courier services is advantageous, Your duties will include but are not limited to
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and that all paperwork is accurately provided
• Interact with third party logistics service providers and negotiate transportation rates and services
• Create shipping lists, packing slips, shipping labels and other documentation
• Track and confirm delivery of orders, documents and shipments to vessels and customers
• Answering of office phone and door for couriers
• Filing and archiving of logistics documents
Main Skills required for this role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with staff and clients in both Mandarin and English languages is a must
• Proactive and able to work as a team or individually
• Ability to manage priorities and multi task efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Sound analytical and problem solving skills
