The successful candidate will join a dynamic work environment and gain experience in a wide variety of areas.
Responsibilities
• Edit promotional copy, user manuals, advertisements, and other English text
• Support copywriting by ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency of tone
• Check for spelling/grammar errors, incomplete or incorrect facts, and conflicting statements
• Write new content as needed and provide creative input
• Effectively communicate highly technical information and concepts
• Work with a multi-cultural team on a range of different marketing tasks
Requirements
• Native English speaker
• 2-4 years of experience in journalism, marketing, writing, editing, or other similar roles
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, marketing, communications, or other similar field
• Strong understanding of editing techniques and experience adhering to corporate style guides
• Experience editing text produced by non-native English speakers preferred
• Currently residing in Shenzhen or China preferred
• Some Mandarin language ability a plus
