Since 1993, Xiehe Education has been offering a global education to students from kindergarten to Secondary school, consistently aiming to deliver an ‘East meets West’ and student-oriented education, and carrying out its holistic education program to train students to be ‘whole persons’ with high values, 21st Century knowledge and skills, and harmonious development.
Under the Xiehe umbrella, there are four education brands: Xiehe Kindergarten(XHKS)、Fortune Kindergarten(FKIS)、Shanghai United International School (SUIS) and Team Awesome International Youth Club (TA). Xiehe has a total of 44 schools and educates over 20,000 students. 4,000 of these students represent 40 nationalities, and amongst our 3000 teaching staff there are 480 foreign teachers.
This position is hiring for Jiaoke Secondary School. It is a fully certified British Columbia Offshore School operating under the ownership of the Xiehe Education Group. The school is situated in the Min Hang District of Shanghai. The school, which enrolls students in grades 9-12, has been in operation since 2011 and has received numerous commendations in its annual BC Inspection Reports.
The school is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy in the Physical Education Department. Qualifications and/or experience in a second subject would be an asset. A female applicant would give balance to department staff and therefore would be given preference.
The anticipated student enrollment for August 2021 is 350-360. The school employs 26 BC certified teachers and a compliment of 16 Chinese certified teachers who support students and staff with academics, parent communications, home room duties and pastoral care.
Shanghai United International School (SUIS) is a progressive employer offering a competitive compensation package including owner paid medical coverage, travel, and a housing allowance.
