The marketing manager for EnjoyShanghai is responsible for managing marketing staff and driving the overall marketing efforts of the company. Your role is to measure and enhance our status in the minds of our readers, clients and the wider community through a wide range of channels, using a data-driven, analytical approach. You are a proactive, driving force within the company that strives to see EnjoyShanghai fulfil its potential.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the marketing efforts of the company.
Plan marketing and branding strategy in cooperation with other departments, both online and offline.
Develop and enhance our product offering.
Conduct competitor analysis.
Provide support and coordination for both Sales and Editorial teams.
Analyze trends, conduct market research, and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on data-driven analysis and feedback.
Prepare and follow budgets.
Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials, as well as banners, promotional material, etc.
Update and improve the media kit.
Actively engage with readers on social media, and oversee the strategic growth of our social media channels.
Develop positive relationships with consumers, clients, the wider community and other media.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict attention to deadlines and efficiency.
Build, develop and lead a marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts, partnerships, and business channels.
REQUIREMENTS
· 3-5 years experience in media, preferably at other Shanghai publications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications or similar field
· Strong experience in branding
· Good grasp of SEO and web analytics
· Excellent communicator and team player
· Proactive, project-minded, organized multitasker
· Analytical and detail-oriented
· Fluent Mandarin and English is a must
