Job Description

HASSELL is currently seeking experienced and energetic Business Development professionals with bilingual proficiency (English & Mandarin) to join the dynamic team.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development for a professional services business, creative or property industries.

You must be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing business conditions.
Requirements

Fluent written and verbal Mandarin and advanced English written and verbal communication skills
Appropriate tertiary qualifications
Business Development and Marketing experience in professional services environment – minimum of 7 years
Experience in property/construction industry/associated consulting industry is ideal but not essential
Microsoft Office and Adobe suite skills
CRM Database software skills

Key Activities

Please note that periodically you may be asked to undertake activities outside of those listed below.
Assist Principals to develop strategies for the management of existing client relationships and an approach to targeting new clients
Drive Principals to maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities for Greater China as recorded in CRM
Activities include: the development of financial targets, client management strategies, pursuit of plans for must-win projects and profile raising in consultation with sector leaders
Responsible for tracking Greater China’s activities and monitoring outcomes against these plans
Coordination of the submission process for Greater China; leading strategy workshops and assisting bid teams and support personnel in preparing / gathering marketing information as required
Initiate and attend (with appropriate key personnel), meetings and presentations with prospective clients and key industry groups inclusive of client debriefs and feedback
Develop and implement (with input from Principals) a targeted calendar of events/guest speakers/boardroom lunches per discipline
Attend and coordinate attendance of appropriate key personnel to functions arranged by industry associations, government bodies and others
Structure coordinated schedule of follow up and achievable milestones to ensure continuity of networking activity
Prepare regular reports and analyses of Greater China business development achievements, opportunities and targets to leadership meetings
Attend leadership meetings by invitation
