Job Description

Thread Design is looking for a new head of digital to lead the agency's technical projects.

The team is considering any mix of development skills and management skills.

As Tech Lead, you will run and own your projects. You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of all technical projects.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will need to be able to advise Thread Design's clients and its creative team on the best approach.

This position is not a pure management position — you will be expected to contribute technically to projects and support.
Responsibilities

Manage a team of developers, including task planning and code reviews
Maintain existing projects and provide support
Source and grow relationships with technical partners
Requirements

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
WordPress theme and plugin development
Advanced front-end development workflows (Git, npm)
Frameworks (Bootstrap/Foundation) and libraries (JQuery)
Understanding of LAMP environment desirable
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
Excellent communication abilities in both Chinese and English would be ideal
