Digital Creative is a leading independent digital agency in Shanghai.
The agency designs, develops and executes digital campaigns that deliver results, crafting user-focused websites and applications that build engagement and increase conversions — working with clients such as VICE, LPK, Epson, Lenovo, Cath Kidston, TEDx, IMG and HuaZhu, as well as startups.
Digital Creative is looking for an experienced Web Designer with an eye for detail and a passion for pixel perfect designs. The team has an extremely high standard of work and are looking for individuals who can share this standard of work, bringing fresh, consistent and modern designs to its projects.
The successful applicant will be designing for responsive websites, web and mobile applications, excelling in the use of color, typography, grid systems, stunning imagery, and have an online portfolio showcasing their most recent work.
Responsibilities
Visual designs of responsive websites and mobile apps
Planning information architecture of websites and mobile apps
Usability testing of websites and apps (measure and optimize)
Liaising with project managers to adhere to client feedback
Liaising with developers to ensure designs are developed properly
Working to tight deadlines
Requirements
Minimum 2 years working experience as Visual, UI or UX designer
Be proficient in Adobe Photoshop (or Sketch) & Illustrator (InDesign and After Effects a plus)
Completely grasp and utilize typography, color and grid systems
Be familiar with both Google Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines
Be willing to put in hard work to meet deadlines
Be energetic with a positive attitude
Have an in-depth understanding user experience design
