Starting Date: Immediate
Qualifications:
—>Bachelor’s degree from top US university or college (Required)
—>Desire to enthusiastically mentor and inspire high school students while nurturing positive relationships with them and their parents
—>Excellent written and verbal communication skills
—>Proven managerial experience—qualified applicants have ability to manage details, deadlines, and people effectively
—>Strong critical and creative thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
—>Excitement for working and living in a foreign country
—>Prior experience working with high school students
—>Passion for teaching and counseling students
Main Responsibilities:
—>Manage 12th grade students’ college applications
—>Mentor and inspire 10thand 11thgrade students to explore their academic interests and passions
—>Help students get involved in their communities through volunteering and other activities
—>Build a relationship with students in order to help them discover their strengths and weaknesses, understand Chinese and American culture, and develop interpersonal skills vital for success at university in America
—>Manage and befriend a group of young and talented Chinese students
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience (30-50KUSD/year), monthly housing allowance, visa arrangement, and health insurance stipend included
