BYB Vision is seeking an Event Designer to join its team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Provide creative design of events, exhibits, show windows, and trade shows in fashion retail industry
Do site surveys when appropriate, and present design proposals to clients during the design process
Work with Account Executives to determine scope of work, design direction, presentation requirements and a timeline, based on the client’s needs and budget
Work with production suppliers to control the quality and timeline; ensure the proposed designs are within budget
Provide technical booklets, 3D renderings and 2D drawings for client or vendor review by using sketch and/or PC format programs
Requirements
Over 3 years event / window design experience
Fashion retail experience is preferred
Skilled at freehand sketching and concept development to express ideas
Knowledge of colors, finishes, and materials for set design
Computer proficient with good skills in CAD, 3D, Photoshop/Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and basic Animation
Ability to produce 3D files and drawings used for prototyping, quoting and preliminary engineering
Excellent communication, organization, management and problem-solving skills
Fluent English (verbal and written); Chinese speaking is a plus
