Job Description

BestEnglishName.com — China’s English naming experts — is seeking a Contributing Creative Director to join its team on a full-time/part-time/or freelance basis.

This role is flexible as to part-time or freelance/contract basis. The main responsibilities will be to create fun and engaging images for blog posts and social media. The team writes a lot of interesting content, but want to do a better job of bringing it all to life through visuals — inspirations for these include buzzfeed.com and refinery29.com, as a reference.

For this role, the team requires someone who is proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with illustration skills. An additional bonus would be experience in video editing and production. Furthermore, someone who has understanding of the online advertising industry as well as native marketing would be ideal.

The team behind BestEnglishName realizes this is a very broad skill set. The most important technical skills are design skills. In terms of soft skills, as this is a start up, the company is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and resourceful, who likes to think out-of-the-box and face new challenges everyday.
Requirements

Adobe Photoshop

Video Editing (no specific level required)
UX and Web experience understanding
English fluency
Chinese (bonus, not required)
