Digital communications agency SPARKS is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join its team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Acquire a thorough working knowledge of all the company’s products
Effectively maintain relationships with existing customers by building long-term connections
Build customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of the company's products
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframe
Perform collection activities as required
Participate in continued education to learn about new products and improve sales techniques
Track personal sales statistics and submit them to Sales Manager for period reviews
Complete proactive customer “good will” calls
Have a creative approach to pitching ideas to clients
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
Requirements
3-4 years of successful sales experience (advertising & communication or visual merchandiser field very appreciated)
Be highly organized and efficient, excellent time management skills
Demonstrate excellent communication and follow-up skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to show consistent professionalism and good judgment
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Be professional, confident, tactful and have a persuasive manner
Good 'people skills', for working with a range of colleagues and clients
Ability to lead and motivate a team
A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
Good business sense and ability to work to budgets
A thorough understanding of the wholesale/retail relationship
Chinese is a must, plus English proficiency
