Sumerian Coffee is seeking a Marketing/Account Manager to join its team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
Oversee all wholesale accounts by ensuring they are being serviced in a manner that exceeds expectations — this entails weekly visits or phone calls, ensuring they are being adequately serviced
Being proactive and creating events that draws attention to their use of Sumerian coffee
Coordinate staff training between Sumerian Baristas and clients
Working with the Sumerian Team to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
Creating pricing and equipment proposals for new clients
Leveraging Sumerian's current network of customers to expand the company's wholesale client base
Partnering with Sumerian's technician to ensure monthly equipment checks are being performed for each of the company's wholesale accounts
Managing website content and graphics
Design and implement graphics and décor for Sumerian's F&B venues
Co-manage social media channels
Requirements
You must love, be passionate, and have a deep understanding of coffee
As an account manager, you will be dealing with high profile clients who have specialized requests, so your ability to set their expectations, support their request and communicate professionally with them is a must
Being able to speak both English and Mandarin is a huge plus
Candidates must have lived in Shanghai for a year or more
Work hours are flexible — you can work from home, but weekly appearance in the café and Sumerian's other venues is extremely important. Expect to be available 7 days a week. Minimum you will work would be 40 hours per week.
