Arobase Communication is a dynamic start-up in communication, plus design & development, based in Shanghai.
The agency is looking for two Web Developers to increase its team. Both intern position and full-time position available.
Job is based in Shanghai, China; position open now.
Responsibilities
Website to create using CMS (Drupal, Joomla, Magento or else), PHP, MySQL, HTML, AJAX...
Understanding and following customers requests.
Make a GUI in accordance with the current web standard.
To be in relationship with the rest of the Designer team for the development of the site.
Requirements
Understands key server-side web development concepts through experiences such as:
Interpreting graphic visual or interaction designs in HTML, CSS and Javascript
Creating visually appealing web pages or interfaces
Creating, editing or modifying templates for a CMS or web development framework
Programming interaction with JavaScript and/or a library such as jQuery, YUI or Prototype
Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
Testing for compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards in the clients' region or domain
Conducting observational user testing, or reviewing designs against usability heuristics
HTML
Familiarity of HTML syntax for multiple specifications, including HTML 5
CSS
Specifying different CSS for various media, devices and displays
Best practices
Methods to ensure browser & device compatibility
JavaScript
Knowledge of the operators, variables, datatypes, objects, properties and methods
jQuery
Knowledge of how to employ the jQuery library for visual effects, event handling, and document manipulation
Correct/good level of English, Chinese or French is a plus
Capacity to work in a team, on multiple tasks and being stress resistant as deadlines approach
Master with Adobe CS, dreamweaver...
Degree in Development or background in the development areas, 2-3 years' related
Detail-oriented
A web presentation of the work already carried out (page, website ...) will be an asset during the interview.
