Job Purpose:
To contribute to the achievement of the Marketing team’s objectives, with responsibilities that include public relations, digital marketing, events management, and content creation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing, writing, and editing content about the uniqueness of YCIS;
Building rapport and managing relationships with partners and the school community;
Developing and updating promotional items including, but not limited to, advertisements, press releases, collateral materials; and souvenirs;
Assisting the Marketing team in overseeing and supporting promotional events as needed;
Supporting a range of digital marketing initiatives;
Assisting the Head of Marketing in developing the strategic plan, reporting, analysis, and implementing initiatives;
Coordinating special projects as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Management, or Communications;
At least 5 years of professional experience in Marketing or related fields;
Native English speaker, ability to converse in Chinese Mandarin a plus;
Excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to create creative story angles;
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
High level of initiative, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timelines;
Ability to strategically analyze and apply data to drive marketing initiatives and decision making;
First-hand, professional experience with digital marketing, including analytics, email marketing, and social media a plus;
Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite software; understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Joomla CMS, eDM software, Dreamweaver, Flash; HTTP, CSS, PHP coding a plus;
Willing to work some irregular hours, overtime, and some weekends;
Photography, videography, design skills a plus.
