Beach Creative is seeking a Project Manager to manage all of the agency's projects from inception to completion.
Working in collaboration with Beach Creative's directors, the position is primarily responsible for ensuring that the team delivers high quality work inline with the expectation of its clients, on time and on budget.
From the inception of every project, the Project Manager will be responsible for diagnosing/managing clients needs, structuring and planning the require resources, and in collaboration with the creative director, make sure that the team clearly understands the tasks and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
In addition, the Project Manager will work closely with the business director to support business development, client account management and provide thoughtful and valuable leadership.
Responsibilities
Project management responsibilities, including: project scope and organization, planning, resourcing, proposal writing, team and resource management, project execution and risk management
Manage day to day client communications, expectations and issues independently
Provide a clear project structure to manage the team tasks and activities to ensure that the team understands the project vision, goals and their responsibilities
Manage the team performance and efficiency in collaboration with the Creative Director
Create and uphold best practice standards and methods to mitigate risks
Proactively manage and communicate schedule and scope changes across all projects and adjust accordingly internally and with the client
Regular budget and cost analysis of all projects for internal and external reporting needs
Assist in business development activities such as identifying new trends, opportunities, first contact and pitches
Requirements
3+ Years of Project Management experience
Excellent understanding and knowledge of Product Design, Digital Design and Manufacturing/ Software Development
Experience and knowledge of design, design process across hardware, technology and software
Highly organized with excellent communication, a love for details and great interpersonal skills
Experience with developing and implementing best practices, methodologies and management tools
Ability to managing multiple projects in a dynamic, small yet highly creative team
Experience with account management and business development
Amazing ability bring together and influence the diverse individual skills and personality to work as one team
Loves a new challenge, love to solve problems and a desire to learn
BA/BS degree in a related field
Fluent in English (Chinese a bonus)
