A suitably experienced and qualified School Nurse is required to work part time as part of a team of school nurses and teaching colleagues to support the medical and pastoral care of students, Monday to Friday term time only. This is a good opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and flexible individual to join our dedicated and friendly professional team. A competitive salary is on offer for this important role.
As a qualified nurse in your home country, you will have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience; school nursing experience would be an advantage or experience in paediatric nursing, adolescent health or A & E. A First Aid Certificate will be required, training can be arranged if necessary. You will be an excellent communicator; confident with students, staff and parents and will demonstrate a sympathetic, supportive and professional approach. You will have an understanding of Child Protection issues and best practice, have a flexible approach and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be computer literate.
