Sekkei Studios is seeking a Web Developer to join its team in Shanghai.
This role is under the supervision of the company's Lead Developer and Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and understand project requirements
Develop complete websites based on different Content Management Systems such as Drupal or Wordpress
Develop custom made HTML5 games, animations, pages for WeChat Campaigns; requires good frontend coding skills
Evaluate and design Drupal solutions
Integrate provided designs as Drupal/Wordpress themes
Customization and module development
Report tasks status to the supervisors through internals collaborating tools
Requirements
Passionate about web development, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new platforms and technology
Interested in different frameworks, good at search and study new frontend/backend technology, can give optimization advice to different types of websites
Ability to think both strategically and operationally
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing agency or in an internal IT department
Experience in managing web development projects such as websites and HTML5 animations for social campaigns
Excellent working knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
Proactive and highly organized, with excellent information management skills and a proven ability to multi-task
Salary depending on experience. Benefits include: holidays [Chinese holidays + 10 days of vacation for the 1st year, 15 days after the 1st year] and regular team activities.
Working period from Monday-Friday 9:30-18:30.
