Design Overlay is looking for a Business Developer to join its team in Shanghai.
Your job will be to develop a strong and efficient business development strategy in accordance with design overlay’s yearly objectives. The strategy should aim at finding new clients/projects that ensure balance between cash flow & creative impact.
You will also have to follow-up projects with newly acquired clients to align with Design Overlay working process & understand more the agency added value. You will work with the design team & the client to mediate the relationship & make sure that the design proposal fits the client’s need.
Requirements
Independent and creative at developing business strategy in accordance to sales and marketing objectives set each year
Ability to prepare and manage marketing presentations, business databases & contractual documents
Strong selling capabilities in line with quick understanding and response to client needs and expectations
Excellent communicator with self-confidence and negotiation skills
Pro-actively cultivate an efficient professional network
Well organized with good sense of priorities
Strong knowledge and interest in the world of Brands & Design
Fluent/native in English and Mandarin. Excellent written skills in both English and Chinese
Flexible schedule ability to take short business trips out of Shanghai
Skilled Microsoft office and keynote presentation
Minimum 4 years experience in retail or design industry
