Advertising agency Young & Rubicam is seeking a Designer to join its team in Shanghai.
The ideal candidate will help create communications that will deliver client’s message in the most persuasive manner possible.
Responsibilities
Responsible for consistency of look across media from original concept through final release
Translate strategic direction (as outlined in a Creative Brief) into powerful advertising communications
Work as a team with copywriter
Take creative direction and turn work around quickly to meet deadlines
Recommend measures to improve work process methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Able to original and conceptualize creative ideas
May include other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design major
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in agency
Must have the ability of managing the designing work
Possess an in-depth knowledge of print reproduction techniques and limitations
Ability to manipulate design skills with print production skills to maximize impact/budget
MAC literacy required
Thorough proficiency with Photo Shop, AI, AB
Experience across disciplines preferred
Must have an eye for detail in design typography and art
Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities
