The Junction Studios is looking for a Lead Producer & Account Manager to add to its team in Shanghai.
Junction Studios is looking for someone passionate, energetic and sociable who can be the main interface between the studio and its clients. You will need to have a broad range of skills from project handling, team supervision and scheduling to managing financials and business development.
The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in project management: preferably all within a photography or creative production context.
In a dynamic working environment, the team needs someone who can inspire other team members, who enjoys a challenge and can adapt to the needs of the project.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for studio workflow and supervision of account management team
Work with studio directors and photographers to arrange and oversee all aspects of a photo shoot (location scouting, hair, makeup, wardrobe, props, sets, model castings, retouching, etc.)
Project scheduling
Ensure all images meet the creative standard set by client
Serve as primary liaison between studio and client
Understand client needs and propose valuable solutions
Understand client briefs
Influence client briefs (offer suggestions)
Understanding of and sensitivity to project budgets
Responsibility for account and project financials (quotations, contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, etc.)
Manage and negotiate with suppliers
Overall responsibility for portfolio of accounts
Develop existing accounts
Develop new accounts (business development)
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and creating content for studio blog and social media accounts
Use of project management software and any other software system employed by the company
Background/market research to understand clients and their industries
Follow company procedures and policies
Drive continuous improvement and innovation
Training and team development
Recruitment (career levels 6 and under)
Any other task required for the successful management of an account/completion of a project
Skills:
Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must. Fluent Chinese would be a real advantage.
Proficient in the use of MS Office.
